FandangObon is an annual festival founded by legendary choreography, musician, and activist Nobuko Miyamoto and Chicano musician and activist Quetzal Flores. The festival receconnects Japanese, Mexican, African, and Sufi Muslim American communities around traditions of circle dance, music, and caring for the land. These communities have always intersected here in Little Tokyo.
