“Cooking for Advocacy” in partnership with Good Good Eatz (GGE), Ms. Tarika Lewis, and two incredible chefs Leilani Baugh and Nora Haron, we meet in virtual kitchens across the region to connect, using cooking as the conduit for conversations. This event offers insights into the Asian X Black Unity Project, while sharing nuanced recipes and personal stories by the chefs. It represents unity and a recognition of minority communities that have faced struggle, violence and racial inequities in this country. We are breaking bread together towards the mission of Solidarity: Racial Equality for all.
